Edutor Technologies was incubated out of RTBI (IIT Madras) in 2009 with the aim of leveraging emerging mobile & touchscreen technology in Education.

In 2012, Edutor Technologies created the IGNITOR Learning solution that allowed students to access study material on their touchscreen tablets, obviating the need for students to carry heavy textbooks to school and back.

Over the last decade and a half, over 500 schools and universities across India and the Middle East have used the IGNITOR Learning app in their classrooms. During this time, we’ve also partnered with over 10 top educational publishers to deliver their digital learning content to students and schools. The IGNITOR Learning app has evolved to cater to the hybrid post-COVID era, continuing to support both schools, universities and education publishers in their digital learning initiatives.
