CMS
Educators can upload their learning content (ePub, PDF, mp4, mp3, HTML5, question bank) on to the IGNITOR Learning app via our proprietary Content Management System. Instructors and Administrators can add other content types directly on the app and share with it with learners.
Structure and Enrich Content
eBooks and Courses can be structured using a flexible, multi-tier Tablet of Contents.
Links to videos, audio, HTML inter-activities and quizzes can be inserted on any page of PDF or ePub, to allow contextual discovery of multi-media learning content.
All content is tagged to course, grade, subject and optionally, chapter metatags.
Question Bank
Question banks can be uploaded via Microsoft Excel and Word templates or directly via WYSIWYG HTML editors on the Content Management System.
The questions added can be included in quizzes that are part of eBooks and Courses and can also be used by instructors to create objective and subjective assessments.
Add Single-choice MCQ, Multiple-choice MCQ. Fill-in-the-Blanks, True-or-False, Match-the-Following and Subjective questions
All questions are tagged to course, subject, grade, chapter and difficulty meta-tags. In addition, they can be tagged to concept and Bloom’s taxonomy meta-tags.
Add MathML and LaTex equations using the MathType plug-in on MS Word or using the built-in CK Editor
Collections
Create collections to group similar or related eBooks and Courses. For example, all eBooks of a series or all courses for a subject across grades.
Content Rules Engine
Educators can easily distribute eBooks and courses to learners and instructors on the IGNITOR Learning app via a robust content distribution rules engine. Leave it to the engine to select the eBooks and Courses that learners and instructors should have access to, based on their course, grade and role.
Meta-tags
eBooks, Courses and questions are automatically assigned if their course and grade meta-tags match the course and grade that a learner and instructor are subscribed to.

Visibility and Download Rules
Setup visibility rules of individual resources within eBooks and Courses for Instructors and Learners.

Licensing
Setup subscriptions and licensing rules for Institutions and B2C users. In-app payments can be setup if you wish to monetize your digital eBooks and courses.
Institutions
Create subscriptions with validity based on institution session start dates.
Setup trial and grace days to offer flexibility in subscriptions period, which are by default 1 academic year
Specify the number of learners in each grade that can access the subscription setup for the institution.
B2C
License eBooks and Courses for a fixed duration or till a specific date.
Allow subscriptions to be purchased only during a date range. Setup pricing for each subscription validity period.
Setup trial days and configure the content that can be accessed during the trial period for each eBook and Course.

Frequently Asked Questions
What content is included in the IGNITOR Learning app?
Edutor Technologies is a technology product company and IGNITOR Learning is our flagship product. We do not create learning content.
The IGNITOR Learning app is a learning platform to which our customers (Educational Publishers, Schools, Institutions) can add their learning content in order to distribute it to their learners.
Is our content secure on the IGNITOR Learning app?
Yes, all content stored on Amazon AWS servers is encrypted and so is the content available for viewing from the IGNITOR Learning app. Our product security has been assessed by a 3rd party Cybersecurity firm as recently as June, 2023 and the assessment reports can be shared with you upon request.
Will Educators need to share their content with Edutor Technologies?
The IGNITOR Learning app includes a Content Management System (CMS) that allows educators create eBooks or Courses themselves, by uploading digital content directly onto the app. The CMS also includes a Microsoft Word and Excel template to upload your question bank in bulk. All content added to the IGNITOR Learning app is stored in our Amazon Web Services account. We do also support setting up the content repository on your AWS account, instead of our AWS account.
If you would like for us to upload content on your behalf, we do have an in-house team that can do this on your behalf. Only if you opt for this service will you need to share your content with us.
Are feature enhancements available without an additional fee?
Yes, product enhancements will be rolled out to all white-labeled apps once a new feature has been introduced in the IGNITOR Learning app. Customer will be notified prior to the rollout of enhancements. Additionally, if a customer would prefer that the rollout of certain enhancements be delayed on their white-labelled apps, we do support such requests. Enhancements are included as part of the license fee.
Does the IGNITOR Learning app work in an offline mode?
Yes, the IGNITOR learning apps can read content from offline storage devices such as pen drives and SD cards. Your eBooks, Courses and Question Bank will need to be downloaded from our Content Management System and preloaded onto these offline storage devices which can then be plugged into Tablets, Android TVs or PCs on which the IGNITOR Learning app has been installed.
Alternatively, we also support offline viewing of learning content that has been downloaded from our Cloud servers.
Does Edutor Technologies ship locked tablets?
Yes, we have partnerships with Lenovo and Scalefusion MDM to setup tablets in kiosk mode. This allows schools to offer a tablet-based learning program within schools with the IGNITOR Learning app pre-installed on the tablets.
